@hustleboy62 Mind-numbingly ignorant. I am a vegetarian and i am 100% healthy. Gladiators, arguably the strongest and healthiest men in history were VEGANS. You do not need meat; this has been proven time and time again, STOP coming up with same boring unintelligent remarks and reasons to eat meat. The fact is you don’t need it. Simple. Why kill when you do not need to kill? Maybe if we stopped condoning killing, we would see less murders on the news?
@HybridD91 ok everything else aside.. my only argument is this:
I function / feel better when i eat a high meat diet ..my skin is clearer, im lean and muscular and my energy levels are high..not to mention my autoimmune disorder becomes controllable.. and my final argument is ” I LIKE MEAT, I ENJOY IT, I LOVE THE TASTE ” – finally i want to say, i will only eat meat from good sources – i dont believe in animals being unnecessarily pained or treated ill
@HybridD91 Therefore, I think I’m within my rights to get angry when vegetarians say the my grandma’s teachings on how to cook traditional food -both meats and vegetables – backwards. There’s really no point in saying culture is subjective – of course it’s subjective. It’s something dear and personal to the hearts of the people that it binds together. Most cultures eat meat. We have been doing so for milennia. And I will remain angry when vegetarians call a traditional Filipino BBQ barbaric.
@HybridD91 We can agree that whether or not eating meat is wrong is subjective. I also agree with you that a person can still live a productive life – with a qualifier. A person can eat meat, in moderation, and live a healthy life. My grandmother is 95. She enjoys walking every morning. She’s also the one who taught me how to roast pork.
despite what many vegetarians believe, in order to live a healthy lifestyle, you NEED a mix of vegetables AND meat. we are omnivores. meat is necessary for our development and sustaining a strong immune system.
@HybridD91countless studies have already shown that a majority of vegetarians are living unhealthy diets, despite what they believe. vegetarians, on average, have a much weaker immune system. it has already been proven that most vegetarians have high levels of deficiencies in terms of proteins, healthy fats and other vitamins which can only be found in meat. you can argue that plants contain protein, but those levels are no where near sufficient enough for a healthy diet.
@HybridD91 actually, thats where you’re wrong hybridd91. eating meat is essential for a healthy life, though many vegetarians seem to deny this. the fact is we would not be who we are today if it weren’t for meat. meat contains incredibly high levels of proteins, levels not found in plants. these proteins are what caused our ancestors brains to develop in the 1st place. these proteins are what stimulate growth, initiate synthesis, and maintain a strong immune system.
@aamazingwaffless Natural selection would balance things out, besides other animals been around before hominoids existed. Do you get where I’m going concerning your “very detrimental evolutionary” issue?
@toastman444 All because our body can digest meat doesn’t mean our bodies are well equipped to do so. Unconditioned or not facing extreme conditions, humans will not eat meat. Those animals you listed are completely different in anatomy than ours. It’s perfectly natural to eat meat when you don’t have to be condition to do so.
@cathoman7 Culture is subjective, not objective. So your opinions will mean little to someone of another culture or against facts. Someone else’s culture would get deeply offended by you eating meat, do you feel the need to change because you do what you critize others for? It’s subjective to say eating meat is wrong or right but no person can deny the fact meat is not needed for a healthy life.
@toastman444 Well I had to reply, I’m pretty sure it will be futile, but here it is anyway. Human physiology is that of a frugivorous ape. It is not only unnecessary, but unnatural for humans to consume animal products. Humans are omnivore by choice. Wolfs leopards, lions, tigers, and polar bears are all carnivore in nature. Not a good correlation I may add.
@toastman444 “mmmmmmmmmmmm bacon steak blood flesh so frickin tastey!!” Not a good start kid. What ever possible argument that came after this faded quickly.

@hustleboy62 I had the same text book. My biology professor told me to throw it out back in 1987 along with the earth is flat theories.
